White & Needle Turn Appliqué, 2

I rolled back the extensions on the right, added a piece of white, shirt fabric,
and appliquéd to my heart's content.
Because of the monochromatic nature of this piece,
the appliqué effect is different from my usual multicolored work.
The shadows seem more important along with the reflected light, giving depth and a sculptural effect.

my first thought was sand dunes and sea foam---the depth and dimension are fabulous--and the way the light catches the brocades must surely be worked with, integrated and surely the point

the movement in this from the stillness of the circles of fine vintage cloth so carefully & lovingly stitched to the wild freedom of your needle turning sweeps me away!
