Some Progress

I'm liking these colors so much that I just want to pick my jeans bag up all the time to stitch on it.

The plaid is interesting to work with as it gives more of a variegated effect and adds some depth.

I noticed you commented on my quilt on our group blog, The Material Mavens! I was intrigued to find out more about you, so I have just spent about 15 minutes reading and clicking and running back and forth between your "main blog" and this one. My mind is blown! How in the world do you manage to get all of this done and work too? I've been retired since 1998, and so seemingly I have all the time in the world, but truly.....you amaze me! Oh, and no, I am not bored silly on this particular blog. Loved seeing all the journal sketches. I do not journal. I do not sketch. I am not courageous enough!

No, I misspoke--you commented on my personal art blog--Art Aspirant! But I do invite you to visit our group blog, where we post quilts based on the same theme, which this time was Contrast. Visit us at
http://thematerialmavens.blogspot.com/ to see 14 different quilts based on the same theme.
