Working (Stitching) Hard

Progress is slow, but progress there is. I'm working on getting the lower half of the Pomegranate Tree filled in--3 to 5 hours a day. The end may be in sight...eventually. Going over a 6ftx7ft surface inch by inch takes time. Here you may say "Well, obviously, Nadia."

Lovely to see these closeups of your work & be reminded of the various steps, techniques & stitching that preceded the additions you are making now. A monumental task, a monumental work! Yes, these thing take time and we know they will, yet there always comes a moment or more when the reality of just how many hours it is taking, will take, hits and we might say, "What was I thinking?" Carry on - it is well worth it. :-)

Oh my! When you first began this piece, I'm sure we had no idea of the vision you had for it. So beautiful!
