Into Tunis, 2

Another errand day in Tunis. The mountain (Boukornine) seems to be a frequent subject. I'm rather fond of it.

I particularly liked the man with the huge beard sitting in a doctor's waiting room.

Way back in 1989 when I was on my way to Libya I stopped in Tunis. The first thing I saw as I was getting off the plane was Boukornine, so it has a special place in my heart. I have a small print of a painting that I keep next to my desk as a reminder of the first thing I saw of Africa. We've visited there a few times, hiking up the mountain and enjoying the wildlife and the views from the top. I've hear that the park there is no longer open. Lovely painting Nadia! Brings back memories.
